The Light of St. Mary

This play was written with the help of the Friends of St Mary's Lighthouse and celebrated the centenary of the Lighthouse in Whitley Bay, opened in 1898.
It lasted about 45 minutes and was sketches and songs based on the monument's history. It was perfomed during one week in the open air at the lighthouse itself (good weather luckily!) as well as in the Whitley Bay Holiday Park, on Tynemouth Station, in Holy Saviour's Church Hall, Tynemouth, and at Bede's World in Jarrow.
